I have never been able to find a place on the internet to place my thoughts about the American School of Algiers. There are school reunion web sites, but they annoy me with spam.
I have fond memories of the ASA. People should feel free to post whatever they want about the school. Someday I may even scan and post some old pictures from school trips to Djelfa and Bou Saada from 1978-1980.

Hi my brother my mom and I were there twice for half a year in the early 80s. And would love to get in contact to some old friends. I was in first and third grade. My brother was a class above me and my mom a teacher. Tina Kind
Let's wake this up.... I'm a little fuzzy on the dates, I attended ASA from 70 to 75, with a break back in the states in there as well. Ended up at boarding school in England from 75-77. Memories.....

I went to school at ASA from 1976-1978, the teachers you're are looking for were Peter and Anne Hopkins or Hopkinson. She taught music and he taught math and science. I would love to hear from anyone who attended in that time frame. My name is Melanie Blair(at the time) and I was there for 6& 7th grade.
